RULES:
The object of this 2-player card game is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. Setup. Shuffle a standard deck of playing cards and deal 5 cards to each player forming their hands. Deal 15 cards to each player for a personal draw deck. Place 2 cards in between the players, face-down. Deal 2 face down piles of 5 cards beside the 2 cards.

To begin, both players simultaneously flip one of the face-down cards in the center face up. There are no turns, all play happens simultaneously. You must now discard the cards in your hand, one by one, using only one hand to play, to either of the 2 center piles. The card played must either be one number above or one number below the top card of pile being played to.

Ace is both a high and low card, considered one value above a King as well as one below a 2, so that the cards form a looping sequence. If you have less than 5 cards, you may draw cards from the top of your draw deck, one at a time, and you may not hold more than 5 cards in your hand at a time.

If neither player can play, then both players simultaneously flip a card from the side piles onto the top of the central piles. If these piles become depleted, the central stacks are shuffled individually and are placed face-down as new side piles from which cards can be flipped. You may not flip the side piles if you have a legal play.

The first player to play all the cards in their hand and draw pile yells “Speed”, hits the table, and wins. Play multiple rounds to determine the winner of a best of 3.

  4. If there is a ace can we put A k or a 2s or only 2s?

  5. i loved this game when i was younger but its been so long id forgotten how to play, this is such a great video!! quick, straight to the point, and easy to follow, thank you so much for posting!!

  6. Could I discard the following example: discard a 4 card, then a 5 card, then a 4 card in just ONE pile? Is this a valid way of playing? Thanks a lot.

  7. Hi!! Could you make a video on the game Flinch?? We lost the instructions, and there isn’t a great video on this one! Thank you in advance ❤️❤️❤️

  10. if you want a longer and similar game you should play spit! 🙂

  11. What if when you get the same number card facing up don't you shout out something then the loser has to get the two piles add up on their own pile

  12. Thanks for the clear and concise explanation!

  13. omg sissy!! this video helped me and my lil bro so much! luv ya

  14. I liked how easy your video was to follow. No fuss, just what we need to know. Thank you

  15. I'm a tad disappointed that you didn't explain this one faster than the others, but it's understandable considering the point of the video.

  16. I have a question. What if both the players have the same cards that they are about to put down and they slap it down literally at the same time?? What do we do then. And we do not know who put it down first. I hope that makes sense

  17. I like this fast pace game glad you told me the extra rules I didn’t know before

  18. Wy sister wastes time. 🕧➡🕧➡🕐➡🕜➡🕦

  19. If your side piles are depleted then you reshuffle each and start using those? Won’t there be a different number in each pile, which makes it harder for one person to finish their hand as well as their side pile?

  20. Can you put the same card down twice, like 3 aces in a row???

  21. I REMEMBER THIS BUT I FORGOT HOW TO PLAY. IT WAS FUN! :DDDDD

  22. I used to play this as a kid and it was called Slap. Except instead of the game ending when you ran out of your cards, once one player ran out you would slap one of the two piles, aiming for the smaller one. Then you would each take your pile and start again. The game would end when one player ended up with all the cards, and said player would lose

  23. I asked my gaming class what the object was: one kid said "dont look like this guy"

  24. Thanks for settling a dispute. It’s been a minute since we played and my husband and I forgot what to do when cards were gone.
